Hockey skills school (Middle school)
Day: Wednesday (Third Form girls), Thursday (Fourth & Fifth Form) & Friday (Third-
Fifth Form boys)
Time: 7:00am-7:30am

Open to: Third Form - Fifth Form
Selection: First come, first served
MIC: Mr R Hobley
Description: Skills schools are designed for a player who has the desire to master
the skills of the game. The sessions range from 1-2-1 to a maximum of 5 per
year group.

LifeSaving
Day: Thursday
Time: 4:50pm-5:50pm
Venue: Swimming Pool
Open to: Fourth Form – Fifth Form
Selection: First come, first served
MIC: Mrs D Massey
Description: An introduction to basic lifesaving skills, leading to an
opportunity to progress through the various levels of RSA awards.
Cost: £25
Skills learnt: Aquatic skills, basic first aid and lifesaving.

Meditation (Michaelmas & lent
term only)
Day: Monday
Time: 3:50pm-4:50pm
Venue: V2
Open to: Fourth Form - Upper Sixth
Selection: First come, first served (max 10)
MIC: Ms E Russell
Description: Offering students a chance
to relax and meditate using a variety of
techniques which they will hopefully take
with them into life. Students set goals
and are encouraged to share
ideas for promoting good
mental health habits.

Relaxation,

mindfulness
and breathing
techniques.
