Fives
        Day: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
        Time: First Form – Second Form, Thursday 3:50pm-4:50pm
        Third Form – Fourth Form, Monday 3:50pm-4:50pm
        Fifth Form – Upper Sixth, Tuesday 4:50pm-5:50pm
        Venue: Fives Court
        Open to: First Form – Upper Sixth
        Selection: First come, first served
        MIC: Mr S Batten
        Description: Fives is one of the oldest and most traditional of ball sports and
        has been played at Bloxham since the early 1860s. Best described as being like
        squash but played with gloves on each hand, and no racket. It is a fast and
        exciting game suitable for boys and girls alike, and for all ages.
        Skills Learnt: The ability to play an old and traditional sport and the chance to be
        selected for school teams. Fives is a sport in which playing in the right spirit is
        more important than winning or losing!


        Football (Exham)
        Day: Thursday (Lent Term only)
        Time: 3:50pm-4:50pm
        Venue: Dewey
        Open to: First Form - Second Form
        Selection: First come, first served
        MIC: Mr M Moir
        Description: Game play and some skills coaching to develop personally and within
        a team. Emphasis on enjoyment and improvement together, whatever your level,
        to help build confidence and fitness.
        Skills learnt: Passing, dribbling, shooting, tackling and positioning, in line with
        your personal commitment to make progress.


        Football Leagues (Intra School league)
        Day: Friday
        Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm
        Venue: Dewey
        Open to: Fifth Form-Upper Sixth
        MIC: Mr N Pigott


        Golf
        Day: Tuesday
        Time: 3:50pm-4:50pm
        Venue: Bloxham Driving Range/Rye Hill Golf Club
        Open to: Fourth Form - Upper Sixth (max 12 students)
        Selection: First come, first served
        MIC: Mr R Matthew
        Description: Opportunity for students to develop their golf skills, practicing at the
        driving range close to the school. There is a charge of £5 per session for a bucket
        of balls. All abilities welcome. Some golf clubs are available from the range
        although this is limited and it is best to bring a selection of your own.
        Skills learnt: Golf technique, patience.
