GirLs’ tennis

This has been a fantastic season for
girls’ tennis at Bloxham, with the best
set of results seen for a long while! The
stand out teams have been the 1st VI
with 62.5% wins, the 2nd VI with 66.7%
wins, the U15As with 61.5% wins and
the senior mixed VI with 100% wins. We
have put out four senior girls teams as
well as U15, U14, U13 and U12 A, B and
C teams, which has meant each girl has
represented the school in a competitive
fixture this season.

The season’s highlights included: the
U15A team beating Stowe, Tudor Hall
5-4 and Wellingborough 8-1; the 1st
VI mixed team beating Stowe 6-3;
the 1st VI and 2nd VI teams beating
Wellingborough; the U14A VI beating
Bradfield 5-4; the U15 and U14 B
teams beating Tudor Hall 5-4 and
Wellingborough 5-4 and 9-0; while the
U13A VI, beat Wellingborough 6-3.
