Each year, the School receives a number of requests for support from Bloxham families who are experiencing short-term financial difficulty often due to a change in family circumstances. In many cases, without support from the School, these families would face the prospect of having to remove their child or children from Bloxham. The Headmaster and Governors regard continuity of education, particularly in key examination years, as a priority and therefore aim to provide temporary financial support wherever possible.
While the majority of financial support is funded by the School, The Hardship Fund, a restricted fund at the School, helps to support the School’s work in this area. Gifts made to the Hardship Fund make a real difference to Bloxham families who find themselves in financial difficulty. All donations made via Second Hand Uniform sales are allocated to the Hardship Fund.
