Housemaster

James Walker has been at Bloxham for six years. He joined as Head of PE before taking on the role of Director of Sport.

Throughout his time at Bloxham he has been a tutor in Egerton. He teaches PE and History, runs the 1st XV and has previously run the
school basketball and athletics teams.

He started his teaching career at Kirkham Grammar
School where he worked for over seven years as a PE
teacher and Assistant Housemaster. A life in boarding
was almost inevitable having been the son of a
Housemaster. He moves into Egerton with his partner
Anna and two young children. His spare time is spent
reading, travelling and skiing as often as possible.
