OBs Barney and Sam have just launched Zeelo, the venture that will change the way we travel between cities.
Old Bloxhamists, Barney Williams (Sy 2008-10) and Sam Ryan (Cr 2006-11) have launched travel venture, Zeelo.
We were delighted to read about the new business venture launched by two of our former pupils.
“Step one” of their venture is to change the way in which people – starting with Bristol students – travel between cities and to events. Their launch is just in time for Christmas, as they are taking bookings now for travel from Bristol to Guildford, Oxford, Leeds, and four major airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, and Stansted). Sam and Barney claim that the existing coach travel model serves operators more than it does customers, and they plan to roll out Zeelo across the entire UK next year, and go on to serve Europe in 2018 so that more people can save time and money on coach travel.
The launch of Zeelo follows on from the pair’s prior business venture, JumpIn, for which they received a national award for enterprise, back in 2014.
