David Smith (Wn 46-49) passed away on 12 August 2023, at the age of 91. David was a 2nd XV regular and played one match for the 1st XV in 1948. He was a member of the School’s boxing team for three years as well as winning School Colours for fives. He was a Wilson House Prefect in his final term. David was an active Old Bloxhamist, a regular attendee at OB dinners and social events. Simon Batten, remembers David a a man of impeccable manners and sartorial elegance.
