Third Form pupil Urssie L. is just back from an exciting few days in Ermelo, Netherlands, competing at senior level in vaulting.
Urssie has been part of the English Vaulting Squad for the last two seasons and was selected to be part of their Senior Squad over the winter. She has been vaulting as part of the team and as an individual this spring.
So far this season (which runs from April to October), the English Vaulting Squad have competed twice internationally; first in Saumur, France before last week’s event in the Netherlands.
The team have secured their qualification to be eligible for selection to represent Great Britain at the Senior European Championships, which take place in the Netherlands this July. In preparation for the championships, the squad have further competitions coming up in Belgium, Austria and the Czech Republic.
