Lower Sixth student Dan E has capped an outstanding rugby season for Bloxham School by earning selection for England at Under 17 level.
Following his appearance last month in a trial game between North and South, Dan has now been chosen for the squad of 34 players which will meet in Newcastle for training at the end of April, including going up against the Scotland U17s in a variety of training scenarios. The Under 17s will be going on their annual summer tour of South Africa in August.
Dan played a central part in the 1st XV’s triumph in the RFU Schools Plate final, and will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow Bloxham and Wasps Academy player Alfie B, who has this season represented England at Under 18, Under 19 and Under 20 level.
