Local Tennis Leagues (LTL) are based mostly from venues with accessible tennis courts that are open to all. Its a mixed singles leagues for adults 18+, of any standard. Play your tennis, your way, and join thousands of players in hundreds of Leagues across the UK. LTL helps build a sense of community, puts local players in touch with each other, and gives players a way to improve their tennis.

LTL is now managed centrally by the LTA and is linked to your world tennis number. Its aim is to provide more competitive opportunities for players of different standard. You can enter regular rounds and play matches against matched opponents at times and locations that suit you.

The Banbury LTL currently consists of three venues, all of which provide pay & play booking opportunities. The venues are Banbury Tennis Club, Bloxham School, and People’s Park (which is an open and free park).

How to sign up:

  1. Simply click here to create a profile, tell us your LTA Number and choose your Local Tennis League.
  2. Visit the Banbury League page where you can sign-up and pay the fee for the upcoming Round.
  3. We will then match you with 6-8 players of your standard according to your ITF World Tennis Number (you will receive contact info via email the day before the Round begins). The first Banbury league round starts from the 14th April so you can sign up anytime before then!
  4. You arrange matches when and where you like, and share any court fees.
  5. Easily enter your match results online.
