Bloxham hosted its third annual Cricket and Tennis Festival on Sunday which saw prep schools and local sports clubs come together for some outstanding play.
There were skilful serves, powerful volleys and accomplished returns on the astro pitches where the tennis tournament took place. Talented tennis players, Izzy and Susie from Winchester House School, were notable for their consistent form and took home the winners’ trophy.
Over in cricket, spectators enjoyed the cricket teas and a little bit of sunshine as they watched determined young players deliver an exciting afternoon of very competent cricket. Chesham Prep and Beachborough were victorious in the end, winning each tournament respectively.
