Last week, our string musicians travelled to Stowe School for a String Masterclass afternoon.

“Bloxham took part in Stowe’s String Day last Thursday and I am pleased to say that everyone very much enjoyed the day. When we arrived, Mr Windass first introduced ourselves, then got right down to business. One of my favourite pieces we played was Andante Festivo by Sibelius. We put on an evening concert which was lead by Mr Windass – it sounded fantastic! The pieces we played were Pachelbel’s Canon, Star Wars, Jupiter, Andante Festivo, The Royal Fireworks Music Movement Number 1 and America from West Side Story. Overall, I thought it was a day well spent! I certainly enjoyed the day, thank you to Mr Windass and Mr Redpath for organising the trip.”
