Eight of the cast of November’s Lost Boys have been invited to attend a residential drama course thanks to their stand-out performances.
Eight Bloxham School students involved in the Drama Department’s hugely popular Lost Boys have been invited to attend the residential National Student Drama Festival in Scarborough at the end of March. The actors were selected based on their performances in the Michaelmas Term’s sell-out production of Lost Boys. The course is designed to bring together some of the brightest young stage stars, giving them the opportunity to work with other young talents from across the country.
Well done to Sam (Captain Hook), Georgie (Tiger Lily), India (Wendy), Alex (Smee), Harris (John), Ben (Curly), Emma (Gentleman Starkey) and Will (Michael). Whilst Emma and Will aren’t able to attend the festival, the others are very much looking forward to being involved in the residential event, with workshops from inspirational professionals from the industry. These will include a voice workshop with the Royal Shakespeare Company and ensemble work with Frantic Assembly.
We hope all the students have a fun and interesting time at the National Student Drama Festival and look forward to hearing about it on their return.
