A big thank you to all those who took part and came along to support Bloxham’s sponsored skydive last week. You helped to raise £3500 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research!
Last Tuesday, seven brave members of the Bloxham community skydived at the local Hinton Airfield to raise money for their chosen charity.
The seven willing Bloxham volunteers, namely staff members Elaine Herbert, Vanessa Devesa and Sophie Heathcote, and students Louisa Heathcote, Ben Keyser and Griff Roberts, led by experienced jumper and Bloxham student Sandy Thompson, each completed a tandem skydive from 13,000ft. The skydive, which had been organised to raise money for their chosen charity, Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, raised in excess of £3500 – a tremendous achievement!
Congratulations to everyone who took part and many thanks to those who supported them and those who kindly made a donation.
