Congratulations to Wilberforce and Crake for winning the House competitions in Senior Sports Day yesterday.
Students enjoyed a brilliant afternoon of athletics, and battled right up to the final events for the title.
All individual winners are congratulated. Special mentions go to Sienna R amongst the girls for winning the 200m and the 800m, and Eleanor M for her fine 7.23m in the shot. Amongst the boys, pride of place goes to Effiom E for winning the 100m and 200m in exceptional times, and for anchoring a victorious Crake team in the 4 x 100m relay, ahead of a fast finishing Egerton team. Alfie B’s 11.22m in the shot and Jack R’s 37.37m in the javelin deserve a special mention too. Congratulations to Wilson who secured all 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the javelin.
