Congratulations to our LAMDA students who scored fantastic results in their recent exams.
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations in the fields of speech, drama, communication and performance taken by students are accredited examinations at Level 3 or above and recognised within the UCAS Tariff system. At Bloxham, LAMDA is compulsory for Lower School students, with more senior students given the option to carry it on, should they wish.’
With drama growing from strength to strength at Bloxham, it was brilliant to receive such an incredible set of LAMDA results this year, with 100% of the students scoring a merit or above!
Special mention goes to our Sixth Form representatives, Laura, Ben and Andrew, who each scored a final score of distinction in their Gold Award (Grade 8 equivalent), with pieces including The Bacchae, a Euripidies Tragedy, a Shakespearean sonnet and the Physicist by Friedrich Durrenmatt.
