We are delighted to announce that First Former, Hunter, has been selected for two International equestrian teams this summer.
Hunter has been selected for the U12 North of England Team in the Home International (Scotland, Wales, Ireland, North of England and South of England) which is to be held on the 28th and 29th May.
Further to this, Hunter has been selected for the U12 England Team in the European Championships this summer. There are only 5 places in the team so this is a particularly fantastic accomplishment.
The determination that Hunter has shown has been inspiring to friends and family alike, spending hours each week training and competing with his pony, pony club team and Mounted Games Association (MGA) team. He has a great bond with his pony who make a great pair together. His drive to be his very best is very admirable and hopefully he will see the rewards over the summer.
When asked how he was feeling about this achievement, Hunter had the following to say:
I am very happy and excited to have selected for the north of England and England teams. I am looking forward to competing with my teammates against other countries. I am so lucky to have such and amazing pony. I really hope team England can win the European championships!
We wish him all the best and will be cheering him on later this term and over the holiday period.
