On Thursday 24th June our Fifth Form students gathered to celebrate the end of their GCSEs with a Summer Ball.
Despite having to change the venue at late notice, due to Government restrictions, the students arrived at school to a delicious mocktail reception on the Headmaster’s Lawn. There was great excitement in gathering together for a black tie event and all had made a fabulous effort in dressing up whilst adding individual flare. Following the drinks reception they made their way into dinner, with the Dining Room laid out beautifully for a sit down served three courses. The food was exceptional, thanks to the amazing work of our Catering Department. Finally they moved on to Jubilee Quad for a Silent Disco, with three channels to choose from with a lively DJ performance that most followed. It was a fantastic evening of all being together and celebrating shared endeavours and experiences at the end of a tough GCSE period.
