Exham Lightning vs. AIS Singapore Netball
On Thursday 27th April, a mixed team of Lower and Upper School students enjoyed a tough netball fixture against visiting school, Australian International School (AIS), Singapore.
Every two years, AIS bring a netball squad to tour the UK, and this year we were delighted that they chose to call into Bloxham for a fixture. Girls from Lower School, plus two students from Lower Sixth Form, Izzy and Holly, played in a fun and friendly netball game against AIS, and were able to get a chance to find out a little about each other over match tea, following the game. Catering provided both teams with a glorious spread of traditional English Afternoon Tea, including sandwhiches, cakes and scones! AIS concluded their visit with a short tour of Bloxham, before we said goodbye as they continued their journey to Bath.
We wish them a safe journey home and look forward to meeting again in the future!
