Over 170 people attended the Crake House Centenary on Saturday for a hog roast on the Headmaster’s Lawn

One of three centenaries this year, Crake House celebrated it’s 100th anniversary by way of a hog roast on the Headmaster’s Lawn on Saturday. Over 170 people attended, the majority of whom were Old Bloxhamists as every decade from 1940 to 2010 was represented. Guests were invited by current boys to take a tour of the House, so they could see how Crake has changed, but in some ways, stayed the same over the years. School Archivist, Simon Batten organised an archive display in the Egerton Library.

Thank you to everybody that came; the lawn and Crake House were filled with laughter and chatting all afternoon! Further photographs can be found on our Facebook page.
