Bloxham School CCF Overnight Trip to Longmoor Camp, Surrey
The Bloxham CCF have spent an action-packed two nights training for FIBUA (fighting in built up areas) at Longmoor Camp in Surrey.
Students from the Fourth Form up to the Upper Sixth Form attended the camp that runs on a termly basis, giving them the chance to gain leadership experience, build up teamwork, and develop resilience and confidence.
Over the course of the two days and nights, students learnt methods of entering buildings, and how to clear houses and patrol urban areas. The trip culminated in a 16 hour exercise, carrying out recces of enemy positions’ and completing a final assault.
