Bloxham School, Prep Schools’ Hockey and Rugby Festival, 18th September 2016
The annual Hockey and Rugby festival, hosted by Bloxham School for local prep schools, proved to be a huge success. Teams from Carrdus, Beachborough, Quinton House, The Croft, Chesham Prep, Ashfold, Winchester House, Bilton Grange, Oratory Prep and Spratton Hall attended, displaying promising talent and boundless enthusiasm.
The hockey teams played a well fought series of games, with an impressive performance from Winchester House allowing them a close win in the final, followed by a strong Chesham Prep team. The Ashfold team showed consistent skills to end up third overall.’
The Rugby teams impressed onlookers with their outstanding play and battled out some exciting matches. Playing a number of different games in one morning tested the team’s adaptability and dynamics across the pitch. The young players were able to develop their skills and we look forward to seeing their future results.
A carvery lunch was enjoyed by the deserving players and their parents in the school Dining Room after the matches. Congratulations to all of the players and we wish you the best of luck with your upcoming rugby and hockey seasons!
