Bloxham School are delighted to announce this year’s annual School Production will be William Golding’s Lord of the Flies.

Lord of the Flies is a story focused on a group of British boys stranded on an uninhabited island and their disastrous attempt to govern themselves. The novel has been critically well received. In the past it has been named in the Modern Library 100 Best Novels, listed at number 70 on the BBC‘s The Big Read poll, and in 2005′Time‘magazine named it as one of the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to 2005.

The production will take place on Thursday 7th, Friday 8th and Saturday 9th December, with performances starting at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm).

Tickets now available by emailing [email protected]. Please note that seats will be allocated on the night on a first come, first served basis. Doors will close promptly at 7.30pm with late admittance only at the interval.
