Bloxham School is delighted to announce the dates for this year’s Bloxham School Eventer Challenge

Bloxham School is delighted to announce the dates for this year’s Bloxham School Eventer Challenge, hosted at Washbrook Farm, a premier eventing centre and home to the prestigious Aston-le-Walls equestrian facility.

After the success of last year’s event, Bloxham School is looking forward to running its Eventer Challenge series again this year, with the first round taking place on Sunday 16th October. This competition is open to all school-age riders and entrants can either compete individually or as part of a school team.

The classes will be include various difficulty levels (starting with pre-lim) to suit a range of ages and abilities. The event will run from October 2016, right the way through until February next year, with the invitation-only grand final taking place on Sunday 26th February. This school-age only event will be held on the following Sundays:

This Eventer Challenge series presents young riders with a wonderful opportunity to compete at Washbrook Farm’s fantastic facility, which offers top-quality courses and gives all riders the chance to ride on a surface. Classes will range from 65cm to 110cm and most will include a water jump.

Riders will accumulate points across the series and may enter as many classes as they wish. 10 points are awarded to the 1st placed competitor, down to 1 point for 10th. 1 point is awarded to all clear rounds.

Competitors who are placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class on each day of the competition will be invited to compete at the grand final event, taking place on Sunday 26th February 2017.
