The inaugural round of this year’s Bloxham Schools Eventer Challenge series at Aston le Walls on Sunday 14th November was a much appreciated event by all competitors and a resounding success for many Bloxham riders, with Bloxham teams heading the 90cm, 100cm and 110cm classes!
120 competitors in total rose to the challenge with very gutsy displays from many riders and ponies in the 65cm class. Bloxham riders entered the fray in the biggest class of the day, the 80cm class, with a well deserved 4th place for Josie B.
Our team of Raffaella C, Tamsin H, Milly B and Evie B enjoyed a resounding win in the large 90cm class, with Milly taking the win, Raffaella in 3rd place and Tamsin 7th.
Not to be outdone, our 100 team tackled the increasingly high and technical 100 class with great skill to take the first team place again, with Hannah B winning, Luli A in 2nd place, Stella W-C in 4th and Aisling M a marvellous 6th place riding in her first competition for Bloxham.
Finally our 110 team took the prestigious 110cm class with Toby R enjoying the win this time, Izzie F-S in 2nd place and Hannah B in 5th.
Well done to all our riders, even if not placed you were all a credit to the school and many thanks once again to your parents for giving up their time to transport and support you all.
