Bloxham School is celebrating success after achieving a strong set of A Level results. Nearly all pupils are heading to the university of their choice, with the majority attending Russell group universities in subjects as diverse as Natural Sciences, History and Politics, Theatre and Law.

Overall, in spite of the national trend of a reduction in top grades, Bloxham students scored highly with the substantive number of grades in the A*-B range. Many subject areas excelled and several departments achieved 100% A*-B grades.

Of the very small number of students that took BTECs in Sport, Business or Food and Hospitality, the vast majority were graded at Distinction/Distinction* (equivalent to A*/A at A level).

Congratulations to our Upper Sixth leavers on their terrific A Level achievements. I am delighted to see that our students have been justly rewarded for their hard work and determination, particularly given the extra layer of anxiety and stress added by sitting their first public examinations. I am proud of all that they have achieved throughout their time at Bloxham and look forward to hearing of their successes as Old Bloxhamists.  We join them in celebrating today and wish them the very best of luck in their future endeavours.
