Bloxham offers a genuine all-round education which focuses equally on academia and opportunities which extend beyond the classroom, namely our broader curriculum. Learning about life in its broader context will equip your child for the future, building essential skills such as confidence, cooperation and resilience needed to embrace challenges and develop expertise.
With over 100 options, ranging from main stream sports to minor ones, and from music, drama and art, to astronomy and cooking, we inspire new passions amongst our pupils, allowing them to both experience breadth and develop expertise. Tutors work with pupils to help them select a variety of options to stimulate and challenge from the following categories:
All Third Form pupils complete an outdoor education programme. As pupils move up the school, those who wish to are able to dedicate more time to a given pursuit and there is no maximum option load. Students in the Sixth Form have the opportunity to strengthen their involvement with a particular club or activity by taking on a leadership role. All Lower Sixth students participate in a year-long service programme alongside their clubs and activities.
