Bloxham School Admissions
We recognise that choosing the best secondary school to suit your child's needs can be a daunting process. Our admissions pages have been designed to offer you, as a prospective parent of Bloxham School, an insight into life here at our busy school.
Your first point of contact during the admissions process will be a member of our admissions team, who will be pleased to guide you through each stage and arrange either a personal visit or invite you to one of our open events. They will also be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding life and learning at Bloxham School.
We would encourage any prospective families to browse our website and school prospectus thoroughly to gain an initial feel for our school. In addition to our open events, we also offer a personal tour of the school on a date to suit you and your family, accompanied by a member of Bloxham staff who will be able to advise you as to what the school can offer in terms of curricular, pastoral, careers and extra-curricular support. Following your tour, you will be invited to meet the Headmaster or a senior member of staff, who can provide more detail about our educational ethos.
Once you have decided to register your interest in our school formally, you will be asked to fill out the registration documents and pay a fee of £200. This will secure your child a provisional place at the school, which will be confirmed if they achieve the grades required in their entrance exams. Each prospective child must be registered before they can sit these exams and must sit the exams to earn a place at the school. Please contact our Head of Admissions, Lorraine Roper, to arrange a visit, or for any other enquiries regarding admissions and entry requirements.
