Charity encompasses many different needs, ideas and activities, from looking after children to climate change campaigns. All encourage an awareness of the world and those around us and ask us to volunteer our time.

Bloxham students are actively involved in helping to raise money for local and national organisations. This often takes the form of fun days and ingenious fundraising events and concerts.

Our support of the Woodard Schools project to build a new secondary school in Kenya, and our recent commitment to help build schoolrooms at an orphanage near Nairobi, have involved considerable fundraising and a group of students will soon visit Nairobi to do some practical work on this project.

We continue to provide sponsorship for eight children around the world through Compassion, an international Christian child development and child advocacy ministry which works in partnership with local churches in 26 countries around the world.

We also like to join in national charitable days such as Comic Relief and Children In Need and through dedicated fundraising, we sponsor a local charity each term.
