Fifth Form pupil Charlie Y had a very busy Easter Holidays, flying to Sweden to compete for Wales at the Gothenburg Horse Show on Saturday 27th April.
It was a very closely-fought competition over three days, with a lively and partisan crowd of 11,000. Charlie’s invitational Welsh Team managed to beat teams from Sweden and England to win the title in Mounted Games.
Charlie also had his Welsh Team Selection trials in Camarthan over the break, and has been selected to represent both the Under 17 team for the European Championships and the Open Team for the World Championships and the Royal Welsh Show, all of which will be held this summer.’
