Lower Sixth student Harry F. was recently awarded for his outstanding fundraising efforts.
On Saturday 20th April Harry attended a VIP lunch at Buckingham Rugby Club to present a cheque for ‘1,000 on behalf of the club to the Chair of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Harry was then (unexpectedly) invited back to the top table by the guest speaker Andy Cosslett, Chairman of the England RFU, and presented with a silver cup in recognition of his fantastic fundraising efforts. Harry with the help of his friends has raised over ‘22,000 in total through various events and campaigns – one of which was a sponsored head-shave!
Congratulations Harry for your achievement; we are proud to see pupils making a difference.
