On Easter Monday a group of staff and students made the 8-mile journey from Cannock Chase to Lichfield Cathedral.

Reverend Weaver describes the experience:

“Having our feet washed has never felt quite so good, as the Dean of Lichfield Cathedral got down on his knees to wash every pilgrim’s feet at the end of our journey. We gathered in a side chapel for a short service to reflect on our own pilgrimages and were then anointed by the Dean before being sent out to carry on our journey of faith.’

“We were blessed by some amazing weather and a strong sense of journeying together to discover new things about ourselves and the risen Lord.”

The pilgrimage is the last stage in preparation for the group’s confirmation at the school on Friday 3rd May.
