Pupils and staff had

‘I really enjoyed the space’ and ‘It was great just to take time to think and pray’ were just two of the comments from Bloxham pupils after they had experienced the Prayer Space at school this week.

Set up in the chapel, the space was created by BeSpace – our local branch of the national project Prayer Spaces in Schools organised by charity 24-7 Prayer. The space explored the last week of Jesus’ life with a number of stands tracing his last days, each offering words and activities to enable reflection and prayer.

Each pupil and member of staff had the opportunity to visit the chapel and experience this interactive and thought provoking space. School Chaplain, Reverend Weaver said:

‘The Space hopefully enabled everyone to reflect on their lives and develop a personal spirituality.”
