On Friday 1st March, we held our annual Lent Address day – ‘Cross-Examined’ – when First to Fourth Form students took part in lessons and activities to explore the Christian faith, led by a voluntary team from Lymington Rushmore Holidays.
The team visited houses for morning registration; Second Form students studied the Bible to see what hope there might be in suffering and that Jesus suffered first for us; Third Form students took part in sports challenges before watching a video about Christian summer camps; First Form students discussed justice and why Jesus took our place on the cross; and finally the Fourth Form students enjoyed a quiz with a powerful and personal testimony half way through. There was also a short interactive talk at lunchtime open to any students titled ‘Who’s on the guest list for heaven?’.
Thank you to all of our visiting team of young Christians who helped to make this day so effective.
