Yesterday, some of our Fourth Form girls took part in a Medical Careers Day; an informative and interesting day run by MCS Projects Ltd for students interested in studying medicine.
The day started with medical students delivering a presentation about how to prepare to apply to Medical School, and about life as a medical student. The group then took part in practical, medical-related activities which were led by current medical students. At the end of the day, the girls heard from a junior doctor about their work, before finishing the day with a Q&A session.
This was a great opportunity for our students and hopefully the first step in their path to a career in medicine.
