Star recorder player, Lottie R (Ry), enthralled friends and family last week in a stunning solo recital.
With music ranging from Baroque to 20th Century, it was a diverse programme, demonstrating Lottie’s ability to interpret different styles with maturity and polish. She also found time to sing Cole Porter’s hilarious Tale of the Oyster at the end which had the audience in stitches.
The evening was an opportunity for Lottie to run through her Advanced Certificate exam programme which she took on Saturday an exam at the level of an undergraduate. Passing with Distinction (an amazing 90%!), it is a fantastic personal achievement for a Fourth Form student, and one to inspire others.
