Earlier this week, Bloxham students, staff and guests were treated to a musical spectacle at the Michaelmas Concert.

After a slick opening from the Seymour boys with their rendition of Toto Hold the Line, the Michaelmas Concert got underway, featuring a immensely broad programme; from Houston to Haydn to Madness to Mascagni, there was something for everyone. The concert even included world premieres of new pieces composed and performed by Bloxham pupils!

“Congratulations on last nights concert. It was an excellent event. Clearly these events don’t happen by chance and the hours of practice clearly have paid off. Please pass on my thanks to the VMTS who were involved.”‘- Paul Sanderson, Headmaster

“What a great concert. Thank you!” – Housemaster

“What a fantastic concert you must be so proud of everyone there. My daughter’s comment was that there is an amazing atmosphere of mutual support for each other amongst the pupils, the feeling of warmth and care for each other is so obvious. Well done to everyone involved, an amazing concert, and fantastic organisation.” – Parent of Third Form student

“Great concert last night. An incredible mix of music, and some fabulously talented kids. Thoroughly enjoyed it. A total privilege to get the opportunity to watch.” – Parent of Second Form student

Well done to everyone who performed, and all members of staff who helped in the organisation of the event.
