On Wednesday, Bloxham School entered the inaugural William Powell Schools Clay Pigeon shooting competition held at the Oxfordshire Shooting School at Enstone.
The A team of Paddy M, Toby S P, Jonty R W and Sam B kept their cool to score a winning 211 out of 240 with Paddy also winning the Senior High Gun prize with an excellent score of 59 out of 60!
The team of Becky S, Emily H and Teddy W-C finished in 2nd place ahead of Seaford College A from Eastbourne. Teddy was also runner up for the High Gun with a score of 54.
Junior High Gun was won by Rory M with a score of 54 out of 60.
A fantastic afternoon of shooting at an event which will hopefully become an annual engagement for Bloxham. Well done to everyone involved!
