This weekend, during the school exeat weekend, a group of 30 pupils and staff will be undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Mary’s Meals, Bloxham’s chosen charity for the year.
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, within 24 hours. The three peaks are:
- Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
- Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
- Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
The group hope to raise £3,000 in sponsorship money, which would raise enough money for 216 children to be fed for a whole school year through Mary’s Meals.
