Bloxham Fourth Former, Tom (Eg), had the ride of his life last week when he secured his place as one of only fifteen selected for the GB Pony Development Squad.
This means that Tom will be asked to attend further training sessions with a view for selection for the Pony Europeans in Hungary at the end of July 2017 and/or Bishop Burton in Yorkshire, August 2018. In addition to being selected for the GB Pony Development Squad, from which the team of six will be chosen for the European Championships in Hungary, Tom is one of ten riders nationally selected to join the Pony Club/University of Aberystwyth Talent Pathway, which was announced on Friday.
