Bloxham welcomed serial entrepreneur Peter Higgins to speak in a whole school assembly.
This afternoon, Bloxham welcomed serial entrepreneur Peter Higgins to speak in a whole school assembly.
Peter is the co-founder of Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts, leading multi-channel shirt retailer, former Chairman of Cath Kidston, Governor of St Pauls’ Boys School in London, and most importantly to Bloxham, Peter is Director/Trustee of Mary’s Meals, our chosen school charity. It was on this topic of Mary’s Meals that Peter led his speech.
Mary’s Meals provides ‘life-changing meals to some of the world’s poorest children every school day’. Named after Mary, the mother of Jesus, the charity aims to provide one good meal in a place of learning, enabling children to be drawn into the classroom where they can receive an education that could one day free them from poverty. A huge thank you to Peter for visiting Bloxham and enlightening students and staff of the brilliant work Mary’s Meals does.
