A-level drama students attended the Brecht Archive Day at the National Theatre
They viewed footage from previous National Theatre production ‘Mother Courage and her children’ along with a host of costume designs, prompt books and production images (including rehearsal snaps)’from previous Brechtian productions, not normally available for members of the public.
In the afternoon students also had a chance to perform a scene from the new”Threepenny Opera’ translation (which they had seen a few weeks before) and listen to production pitches from design students.
