On Friday 4th March, members of the Bloxham School community took part in an exciting event hosted by local bookshop, Jaff & Neale
To celebrate World Book Day, School Librarian Sara Swann and Emma Bradley, Head of Key Stage Three English, took the Second Form members of Junior Book Group to the Biggest Book Show on Earth, hosted by Jaff & Neale in Chipping Norton. Scary monsters, tall tales (and some long tails too) and plenty of great ideas were shared with us in 6 lively speeches delivered by some big names in children’s fiction. At the end, we all left with (at least) one book, which was bought and signed at the event. Our top picks were Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell, Young Bond by Steve Cole and The Bolds by Julian Clary.
