Pupils from Cropredy Primary School visited Bloxham School today for an interactive Science workshop.

The children started the day with an introduction to the Biology lab looking at very small things up close though microscopes before handling real geckos.

In the Chemistry lab the children learned about different chemicals, made a fire tornado and witnessed impressive explosions including a very loud bang from a hydrogen filled balloon!

The workshop finished with hands on activities in the Physics lab where the pupils could have a go on the Van der Graaf generator, which made their hair stand on end, and were able to direct lightning by moving their fingers around on a plasma ball.
