On Friday 6th March, the Bloxham School Senior Jazz Band performed in the annual Chipping Norton Jazz Competition
On Friday 6th March, the Bloxham School Senior Jazz Band performed in the annual Chipping Norton Jazz Competition.
Five schools from around the local area area took part and the Bloxham band certainly held their own with a confident and well-executed performance. The band’s three-number set, comprising “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder, “Apache” by the Incredible Bongo Band, and “Let Her Go” by Maverick Sabre received extremely favourable comments from the judge.
The band are performing next on the 19th‘March at 6.30pm the Winchester House Music Competition final and we wish them the best of luck!
