Bloxham’s group of entrepreneurs, ReHide, took to the streets of Banbury this Saturday to attend the next in’line of Young Enterprise events, where they were rewarded with a number of awards for their outstanding products.

The Assistant M.D. Tobi Ng led a team to the Banbury Young Enterprise fair on Saturday. It was a miserable day with rain and low temperatures throughout the day. However, this did not dampen spirits as the team set up a stall outside in the market alongside regular traders. Our stall was just as good as ever with Banbury Sound tweeting about the amount of work that must have gone in to it. Sales started slowly but quickly picked up and soon we had our first ever sell out as we ran out of our leather belts, even selling one to the Mayor! Alongside this there was also three categories of competition to compete in (Best Product, Best Customer Service and Best Trade Stand). After a day of judging by mystery shoppers and the Mayor, we were awarded both the Best Product and Best Customer Service categories, while also receiving a prize for Highly Commended Trade Stand.
These awards stand us in good stead as we go into the last few weeks of our time as a Young Enterprise Business. Our next Young Enterprise fair in Stratford on Saturday 14th March will be our last opportunity to sell before the Area finals on the 22nd April, when we will compete against other schools to continue to the County finals later in the year. However, despite the limited time we are still planning to bring a new product to market in the coming week as well as releasing another advertising booklet at the end of term! The ReHide group have been working incredibly hard since the launch of their company, achieving commendations and praise wherever they have sold their products. The future certainly looks bright for this team of young entrepreneurs!
