Festive favourites were on the billing at last night’s Michaelmas Ensemble Concert held at Bloxham School.
Festive favourites were on the billing at last night’s Michaelmas Ensemble Concert held at Bloxham School.’
The Brass Group opened the concert and was followed by the String Ensemble and the Flute Group.’ Two jazz bands, the Chapel Choir and the popular Harmonix singing group also performed before closing numbers from the Orchestra.
The audience was treated to a range of musical styles from traditional pieces by Bach and Mozart to modern classics from The Beatles and the Everly Brothers.’ Orchestral arrangements included ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Sleigh Ride’.
