Last Friday, First Formers enjoyed a brilliant trip to the Sky Skills Studios where they had the chance to host their own news broadcast and get a glimpse behind the scenes of a newsroom
On Friday 3rd October, the First Form travelled to North London on a Careers Trip to visit the Sky Skills Studios.
All the students had the chance to work with some thrilling technology, including broadcasting cameras, green screens and touch-edit software. Using all this equipment, they even had the chance to make their very own television report. The information in their report on “The Spending Habits of Teenagers” was thanks to a great deal of hard work and research by the students and their teachers during Maths lessons and Careers workshops in the build up to the trip.
