Old Bloxhamists enjoyed a fabulous get together at the Old Bloxhamist German Reunion in Bavaria on Friday 17th May.
In the warm evening sunshine, a group of OBs and senior members of school staff, including Headmaster Paul Sanderson and OB Resident Secretary Simon Batten, met at Xaver’s in central Munich and enjoyed a drinks reception followed by a delicious dinner.
The event was a social occasion, our first in Europe, and all Old Bloxhamists and friends of the school living in Germany and close by, were invited to meet informally for the evening. It was fantastic to welcome OBs who were at school in the ’80s and ’90s, right through to those who recently left. There was much reminiscing and enjoyment until the early hours. We were hugely grateful for the help of Maximillian von Forstner (Eg 07-09) for his help in organising the evening.
