An intrepid team of climbers and kayakers from Bloxham School, accompanied by Mr Buckland, Mr Dann, Mr Shepherd and Mr Sanderson made the long minibus ride to Corpach, north of Fort William for eight days of adventure.
Not deterred by the inclement weather, students undertook a sea kayaking overnight expedition off the west coast of Scotland near Arisaig, undertook the challenge of mountain biking the Witches Trails at Annoch Mor, and scrambled on the likes of Curved Ridge in Glencoe and Ledge Route on Ben Nevis. In addition, there were multiple rock-climbing days on some of the finest climbing in Scotland, including Glen Nevis, Kinguissie and Dunkeld.
The students all pulled together, ate extraordinary amounts of food, and were at all times of good humour and were the very best of company. Special thanks must also go to Sandy Patterson and Ross Cadie from Scotch on the Rock Guiding, who provided local expertise when instructing and to the staff who made this trip possible.
